- Vote to Appoint a Board Chairperson and Co-Chairperson
We currently have no raised hands for either position, but we encourage you to thoughtfully consider volunteering. These leadership roles are vital in helping guide our board and represent the heart of our governance structure.The Chairperson will:- Guide and mediate board actions
- Serve as a liaison between the Executive Director and the board
- Monitor financial planning and reports
- Help Identify Funds
- Help Identify a Strong Grant Writer
- Play a leading role in fundraising efforts
- Support and step in for the Chairperson as needed
- Help coordinate board initiatives
- Ensure continuity and engagement among board members
- Vote to Finalize Board Leadership Roles and Committees
- Confirming Shunta Lingard as Treasurer
- Confirming Rhonda Alexander as Secretary
- Prioritization of Programs aligned with near-term funding opportunities
- Refinement of Governance and Operational Strategies
- Board Member Action Items
- Board Member Features for the Website
Board Member Website Features
Each board member is encouraged to submit the following:
- A high-quality headshot
- A short personal statement (20 words max) beginning with:
“I joined this because…” - Your official professional title
(If retired, please state that and the industry you retired from)

Organizational Timeline & Public Launch
We will begin discussions on a proposed public launch timeline for Watch Light Pathways, Inc.
Before we make a formal public announcement, we must evaluate progress in the following areas:
- Funding secured
- Program development
- Operational structure
This timeline will be shaped by these milestones and revisited in upcoming meetings.
